Clean air on bottle

New York has gotten freezing cold. I’m staying home and watching Dr Seuss Lorax. A cute animated film for kids, but with an imortant underlying message. In the film, the people live captured in the fake city Thneedville where everything is made out of plastic and smog is thick in the sky. The main characther is in a dangerous hunt for a real tree for his dream girl.

In one scene, marketers are pitching the idea of selling clean air on bottles “O’Hare” to the unsympathetic governor. It made me think of the state of cities like Beijing and the informercail of “fresh air” from Clean Air Network to address the problem of air pollution.

If the problem will not be addressed in timely manner, products like “O’Hare” or “Fresh Air” may become reality.
